It is amazed to see that Citizenship and Immigration Canada has successfully performed its 10TH Express Entry draw between 12 June 2015 and 13 June 2015. This time 1,501 ITAs for Canadian permanent residence were granted to the candidates in the Express Entry pool. But, the most surprising thing is the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) cut-off score, which has significantly reduced to 482 points.
After the drastic increase in number of CRS points in the ninth Canada Express Entry draw, which was conducted on 22 May 2015, where invitation were issued only to candidates with valid job offer or provincial nomination. During the tenth draw, this trend has completely reversed and selected a portion of candidates with no job offer or provincial nomination.
Specialty of Canada Express Entry 10th Draw
This time, candidates in the tenth Canada Express Entry draw has witnessed a significant decline in the CRS cut-off points from 755 to 482, a drop of 273 points. Tenth Express Entry draw also observed an increase in the ITAs count, when compared to the previous draw i.e. number of ITAs issued is increased from 1361 to 1501. And, the duration between 9th and 10th Express Entry draw is nearly three weeks. And, hopefully the next or 11th Express Entry draw will soon be conducted by the federal government of Canada.
As the number of provinces has introduced its Express Entry streams as portion of their Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP), candidates in the Express Entry pool are observing a rising number of choices as well as opportunities for acquiring the invitation to apply. The Canadian provinces, Saskatchewan and Ontario, and the marine provinces of Nova Scotia as well as New Brunswick, have all launched such streams recently. Even, Ontario has also launched an immigration stream aligned with federal Express Entry that intends to lure applicants with French language proficiency.
